Systems Technology Group, Inc. (STG) seeks a Next.js Developer with AI experience for a long-term, direct-client engagement in Dearborn, MI. This is a W2 position; C2C is not accepted.

STG provides immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those who need it. You will contribute to front-end development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply AI concepts to improve development outcomes.

Qualifications

• Frontend UI/UX design and implementation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases and advocate for user-centric solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Align with architecture guidelines for a unified approach to development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, back-end developers and architects; create mocks and prototypes for UI reviews and demos.
• Perform functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure quality development.
• Improve performance by fixing bugs and optimizing the application and adopting new technologies.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging UI trends and AI concepts as applied to development.

Title: Nextjs Developer with AI Experience (only W2 Position – No C2C Accepted)

Description: STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has an opening for Nextjs Developer with AI Experience.

Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end clients. This is expected to be a long‑term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.

Experience Required

Employees in this job function develop and maintain the front‑end/ client‑side of an application, typically a web application, but sometimes also a mobile application or mobile‑friendly responsive application and are responsible for the design and implementation of the user interface and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to deeply understand their use‑cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user‑centric software solutions
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies
• Align with architecture guidelines for unified and coherent approach to development
• Collaborate with cross functional teams like product owners, designers, back‑end developers, architects etc. 5. Create mock‑ups and prototypes to visualize new features and participate in user interface design reviews and product demos
• Performs functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure quality development
• Work on continuously improving performance by fixing bugs and optimizing the application and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Keep up to date with latest emerging technologies and trends in user interface design Client is not looking for an AI expert, but the candidate should have a solid understanding of basic AI concepts and how AI is applied in development. The candidate must also have experience with Next.js, Playwright, and React‑based frameworks.

Skills Required

• 4+ years in development NextJS, Playwright, React - 4+ years AI Copilot Usage - 6+ Months
• AI: Can you briefly explain your understanding of basic AI concepts and how you have used AI in a development environment?
• State Management: What are the different ways you have handled state management in React/Next.js? Can you give an example?
• Next.js App Router: Can you explain your experience with the Next.js App Router and how you have used it in a project?
