Job summary

Lakepointe Church in Rockwall, TX, is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to help people take their next steps in their relationship with Jesus. Responsibilities

• Champion the church’s strategy for helping people take their next step in their relationship with Jesus.
• Lead and develop high-capacity volunteer leaders who implement Next Steps experiences.
• Recruit, equip, coach, and pastor volunteer teams serving in Next Steps ministries, including Next Steps Class, Baptism, Prayer, Rooted, and other discipleship environments.
• Implement systems and processes that help people move from attending church to becoming fully engaged members of the church family.
• Oversee the Next Steps Class experience, ensuring guests are personally connected, equipped to identify their next step, and followed up with excellence.
• Lead the campus baptism process from registration through post-baptism follow-up, creating meaningful and memorable baptism experiences.
• Partner with campus ministry leaders to cultivate a healthy volunteer culture that recruits, develops, and retains servant leaders across every ministry.
• Monitor key Next Steps metrics, identify trends, and implement strategies that increase engagement and spiritual growth.
• Provide pastoral care by connecting with guests, members, volunteers, and those taking significant spiritual next steps.
• Collaborate with campus staff to execute church-wide initiatives, special events, and seasonal ministry opportunities with excellence.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
