Job summary

Mission Point Church in Mansfield, Ohio, seeks a Next Gen Pastor to shepherd the next generation—children, students, and young adults—through a biblically rooted, gospel-centered discipleship pathway. You will partner with pastors, staff, and deacons to ensure faithful teaching and integrated ministry across all ages.

Requirements include a bachelor’s level theological training and experience in Next Gen Ministries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level theological/biblical training is required.
• Experience in Next Gen Ministries is a plus.
• Evidence of personal discipleship and spiritual maturity.

Responsibilities

• Foster the Discipleship of the Next Generation by providing pastoral oversight and vision for ministries serving children, students, and young adults.
• Equip Families by partnering with parents as primary disciplers and encouraging, resourcing, and communicating with families.
• Develop Leaders by recruiting, training, shepherding, and encouraging volunteers and building healthy ministry teams.
• Build a Discipleship Pathway by creating a seamless pathway from childhood through young adulthood and evaluating ministry effectiveness.
