Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks motivated Systems Engineers to join the Next Gen Systems team supporting development of the Collins Flight Deck. You will work on real avionics programs across the full lifecycle, from requirements to delivery.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers to define high-level behavior, decomposing requirements, and contributing to verification activities in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Cameo or similar engineering tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of systems, software, integration, and test engineers to develop and deliver avionics system solutions.
• Support development, analysis, and refinement of system requirements and interfaces.
• Contribute to verification planning and test development to ensure implementations satisfy system requirements.
• Participate in technical reviews of requirements, design artifacts, and test procedures, while incorporating feedback into your own work.
• Assist with system integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in lab and development environments.
• Communicate technical status, issues, and proposed solutions clearly to team members and mentors.

Education
