We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Project Lead to join our team. In this role, you will lead key digitized delivery initiatives in strategic accounts by identifying and implementing automation opportunities in the OSS/BSS space. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the digitized delivery initiative in key delivery accounts by working on automation opportunities in OSS/BSS.
- Work as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master to drive the automation opportunities in Delivery accounts.
- Coordinate and work closely with various stakeholders, both internal (Delivery, Solutions, IT) and external (Customers and Partners), for project requirements.
- Drive the project through its end-to-end life cycle, including Scrum calls for SDLC.
- Create tasks for developers and track for on-time closure.
- Documentation: Create design templates and user stories for development by gathering requirements from various users/delivery teams.
- Collaborate with different teams for the success of the project, giving demos, testing the working software, seeking feedback, and exploring further new opportunities for automation.
- Lead and deliver Due Diligence (DD) and Proof of Concepts (POC) of projects involving OSS and automation for the allocated customer account.
- Conduct UAT and close all open actions/bugs/issues.
Technical Competencies:
- Must have working experience in Operations Support System (OSS) such as Inventory, Fulfillment, Assurance (FMS/PMS, Ticketing).
- Good understanding of telecom processes such as Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance, Field Operations, Network Operations, and Network Engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of telecom network architecture and technologies such as RAN, LTE, IP, DWDM, SDH, Ethernet, etc.
- Decent understanding of underlying IT infrastructure such as Virtual Machines (VMs), Operating Systems (OS), and Databases (DB) like RDBMS.
- Expertise in project management and business analysis.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum is mandatory.
- Knowledge of any programming language will be an added benefit (Java/Python, etc.).
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in the telecom domain or handling telecom use cases.
- 5-7 years of experience in dealing with OSS tools EMS/NMS, Assurance/Inventory, and trouble ticketing systems.
- Must have delivered projects with automation technologies such as RPA, scripting, APIs, web applications, AI/ML, etc.
- Experience handling 3 or more tools and automation projects (medium to large implementations).
