Job summary

Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles is seeking a CBS News Producer to craft dynamic, multi-platform broadcasts. You will shape stories from pitch to air, coordinate with correspondents and crews, and manage fast-paced breaking news coverage. The role demands strong editorial judgment, broadcast writing skills, and the ability to shoot and edit basic footage.

Domestic and international travel may be required, and a valid U.S. driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of local and/or network TV or cable news field producing experience
• Strong editorial judgement with experience writing for broadcast
• Ability to shoot and knowledge of basic editing
• Understanding of TV newsgathering and transmission technology
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, without restriction
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with the ability and willingness to drive

• Pitch original story ideas
• Develop enterprise stories
• Produce stories from concept to air
• Work with correspondents and reporters
• Support breaking news coverage
• Field produce when needed
• Gather content/shoot basic video when necessary
