Job summary

NewsNation interns will work on programs, in bureaux, or on production teams within a national cable news network. The internship includes trainings to understand editorial, business, programming, and technological aspects of a 24-hour news organization.

Responsibilities include research, pitching stories, sourcing guests, video editing, graphics, scripting, and shadowing editorial positions. The Fall 2026 paid internship runs from September 8 to December 4.

Qualifications

• Undergrad or graduate student studying journalism or communications.
• Strong interest in editorial news gathering or production.
