Responsibilities

• Lead Daily Editorial Direction: help set the editorial agenda and participate in editorial meetings.
• Oversee Assignment Desk & Content Flow: supervise crews and reporter deployment; manage breaking news logistics.
• Drive Story Quality & Execution: sharpen story angles and enforce journalistic standards.
• Breaking News Leadership: take charge during major breaking news with rapid decision making.
• Cross-Platform Content Strategy: align messaging across broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
• Supervise and Develop Staff: coach reporters, MMJs, producers, and editors; guide growth.
• Maintain Editorial Standards & Ethics: enforce accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Long-Term & Enterprise Planning: plan sweeps and enterprise opportunities; coordinate special projects.
