Sinclair seeks an Associate Producer to fill in for both the News Producer and the Assignment Desk Editor as needed. The ideal candidate has strong writing and news judgment, and experience editing compelling video and sound in a fast-paced newsroom.

The position requires a 4-year degree in Journalism or Mass Communications, familiarity with Avid editing is a plus, and willingness to work all shifts including weekdays, evenings, overnights, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Mass Communications is required.
• Strong writing and news judgment are essential.
• Experience producing or editing for television is preferred.
• ability to work well in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

• Operating teleprompter during newscasts

• Assisting with other editorial duties as assigned
