Qualifications

• Assignment desk experience in a television newsroom (4+ years).
• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communication or comparable television work experience preferred.
• Ability to develop sources.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities under time pressure.
• Willing to travel to cover stories and interact with the community.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Work inside a climate-controlled, open newsroom environment.
