WCVB, Hearst Television’s market-leading ABC affiliate in Boston, is seeking a News Producer who excels at creating compelling content in a fast-paced newsroom. You will craft a clear editorial vision for each newscast and lead a room of producers to execute it.

You must stay calm under pressure, own breaking news, and develop multi-platform content for TV and digital. The role requires strong leadership, sharp writing, and a digital-first mindset to maximize reach across web and social channels.

Qualifications

• Professional newscast producing experience.
• Proven writing and copy-editing skills for both linear and digital.
• Ability to collaborate with assignment editors in dispatching crews.
• Creative presentation style and ability to showcase all resources and elements.
• Unwavering journalistic integrity and ethical standards.
• Must be available to work holidays, night/weekend/overnight shifts, and be flexible during breaking news.

The estimated base salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $90,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
