Job summary

Versant Media is seeking an assistant to support CNBC-style news production at their Englewood Cliffs, NJ headquarters. The role involves helping producers with story production and pre-interviews, researching background information across business and financial topics, and coordinating feeds, Zooms, and schedules.

Qualifications

• BA degree in journalism or business, or an equivalent degree.
• Minimum 1 year of production experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist producers with story production and pre-interviews.
• Find background information on business and financial news stories using diverse sources.
• Coordinate production requests, feeds/Zooms, and schedules.
• Coordinate with technical operations, publicity, promotions, marketing, dotcom, and others.
