Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a News Producer to lead daily newscasts for our Tri-Cities, Tennessee and Virginia communities. You will decide story order, write teases, and time broadcasts for both TV and digital platforms.

You will edit video, produce website content, verify facts, and ensure timely delivery of compelling news. Flexibility to work any shift is essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work any shift.
