Job summary

Nexstar Media Group is seeking a News Producer to assemble compelling daily newscasts across broadcast and digital platforms. You will decide story order, write teases, and time the program, while editing video for delivery across outlets.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in journalism or related field, fluency in English, and at least two years of newsroom experience. Strong deadlines and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Minimum two years' experience in news operations (Depending on market size).
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work any shift.
