Job summary

WTVC, a Sinclair Broadcast Group station in Chattanooga, seeks a skilled News Editor with a keen eye for detail and a creative approach to storytelling.

Responsibilities include editing video for daily newscasts and special projects, ingesting feeds from bureaus and partners, collaborating with anchors, reporters and producers, and meeting daily deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom. College degree or one year of experience preferred; Final Cut Pro and Avid NewsCutter XP are a plus.

Qualifications

• College degree or minimum one year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Final Cut Pro and Avid NewsCutter XP editing technology is a definite plus.
• Ability to work with a multitude of people while maintaining professionalism.
