Catering Buffet Attendants are needed only for events. Our events calendar is published 3 months in advance, so you can see which events fit your schedule. Most events are during the evenings. Weekly hours cannot be guaranteed; however, you will have the flexibility to work around your schedule.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and replenish buffet items to ensure a continuous and attractive presentation of food.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the buffet area, including utensils, plates, and serving dishes.
• Assist guests by providing information about food options and accommodating dietary restrictions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate inventory needs and special requests.
• Support overall dining operations by assisting with setup and breakdown of the buffet, and with table bussing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

• Familiarity with food service equipment and buffet setups.
• Basic understanding of inventory management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain flexibility.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a post-offer background check.
• Ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs, bend, and stoop.
• Physical strength, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation, as public transit may not be available after evening events.
