Job summary

Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our acute care team. The RN will provide safe, competent nursing care for patients, support the healthcare team, and uphold patient-centered care standards.

Orientation includes BLS/NRP completion and pre-employment assessments. The role offers stable development within a large health system and opportunities across Texoma facilities.

Qualifications

• Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
• One year full time experience in an acute care setting.
• STABLE and NRP within 6 months
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• Must be able to identify and competently address the needs of the populations served.

Responsibilities

• The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Additionally, nursing will provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
