Home Work Staffing in Hanover, New Hampshire is seeking an experienced infant nanny for a contract position from November 5, 2026 to early July 2027. The family’s son will be about three and a half months old at start.

This nurturing role requires a highly reliable caregiver who will bond with the baby and provide a steady, trusted presence each day. The rural home is about forty minutes from town with snowy winters, so a reliable vehicle and confident driving are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience caring for newborns and infants.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for rural driving conditions.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Comfortable in a home with a dog.
• Physically active and able to handle stairs throughout the day.
• Warm, patient, affectionate, and nurturing caregiving style.
• Reliable, self-directed, and able to work independently.
• Able to provide 3–5 professional references.

Responsibilities

• Sole-charge infant care during scheduled hours, including feeding, diapering, naps, and soothing.
• Bottle feeding pumped breast milk and supporting feeding routines.
• Bathing and personal care for the baby.
• Establishing and maintaining nap and sleep routines.
• Age-appropriate play, tummy time, walks, and developmental engagement.
• Infant laundry.
• Bottle washing, sterilizing, and maintaining baby supplies.
• Keeping nursery and baby areas tidy and organized.
• Communicating daily updates to the parents.
• Flexibility to pivot on busy days to support the household.
