Responsibilities

• Performs hearing screening on newborns using an automated screener.
• Reports results to parents and clinicians in a clear manner.
• Arranges follow-up after discharge when needed.
• Assists with database management and data entry.
• Documents screening results in the medical record.
• Informs nursery staff, physicians, and families of results.
• Performs daily charge entry into the clinical computing system.
