They are seeking a discreet, knowledgeable, and nurturing Newborn Care Specialist to guide their journey! This family values expertise, warmth, professionalism, and a calm, reassuring presence during the newborn stage. Both parents are working professionals who have demanding schedules, and the father will be traveling for work. Mom will have a short maternity leave, and she wants a true partner in her journey to support her during this postpartum time.

Ideal Candidate

This warm family would love to connect with a highly experienced NCS who brings sensitive expertise in newborn development, safe sleep practices, feeding support, and helping with baby laundry and meals for mom. The ideal candidate is confident, intuitive, and discreet. Someone who can “read the room,” knowing when to step in with guidance and when to allow the parents to take the lead. A true baby expert who can support the parents, answer questions, and offer suggestions will be an incredible value during this time. If you are a professional, organized, and supportive NCS who thrives in helping new parents feel confident, this could be a wonderful fit. Mom would love an NCS who is open to making some basic meals for her a couple of times per week, which could include cut-up veggies, scrambled eggs, or a protein shake. Travel will be optional for this position, and she may only travel to Austin for a couple of weekends.

Job Synopsis

Primary responsibilities will focus on all overnight newborn-related care, ensuring the baby’s environment is safe, clean, and organized. Duties include assisting with feeding, maintaining a tidy, peaceful nursery, supporting healthy sleep and feeding routines, and providing gentle guidance during these special first months. Support with baby laundry and sanitizing bottles, and running the dishwasher would be greatly appreciated. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 6/7/8 pm to 8 am for 16-18 weeks. The rate for this position is from $50 to $60 per hour, depending on experience.

Vaccination Requirements

This family is requesting an NCS who is vaccinated with MMR and Tdap, and is willing to get flu and COVID vaccines.
