This is a part-time volunteer Chief Legal Counsel role (3-5hrs per month) at the New York Auto Museum, located in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with the flexibility for remote work. The Chief Legal Counsel will be responsible for legal compliance, consulting on legal matters, preparing legal documents, and addressing any legal issues that arise on a day-to-day basis.

At this time we require someone to review employment agreements.

Company Description

The New York Automotive Experience Center, home to the New York Auto Museum, is a proposed cutting-edge 150,000-200,000+ square-foot facility to be located in Manhattan. With a unique design featuring a rooftop patio and partial glass floors, visitors can view historical vehicles in a whole new way. The museum offers visitors the opportunity to sit in up to 50 different vehicles at any given time, providing an immersive automotive experience.

Qualifications

• License to practice in New York State
• Law and Legal Compliance skills
• Experience in handling Legal Issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience in the automotive industry or museum sector is a plus
• Nonprofit experience an assit
