Job summary

Gene Juarez Salons & Spas is launching a New Talent Education Program for licensed hair stylists to learn advanced techniques through hands-on training at our Southcenter space. The program runs three months with paid training and opportunities to grow your clientele.

Pay is $21.65 per hour with possible retail commissions per program guidelines. Full-time schedule is Tue–Sat, with benefit offerings for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds an active Washington State cosmetology or hair design license and may apply without a current license but must be licensed before start date.
• 0–2 years behind-the-chair experience is preferred.
• Commitment to a focused 3‑month training program.

Our New Talent Education Program is for licensed hair stylists that want to learn advanced techniques through hands-on training and best practices from our top performing artists. You will master on-trend industry services, time management skills and the overall function of our salons.

Program Details:

The next 3-month program is scheduled to start on May 19th (Tuesday - Saturday) and will be located at our dedicated training space at our Southcenter salon.

    Compensation Information

The pay for this position is $21.65.
*Employees in this position have the opportunity to earn retail product commissions per program guidelines.

We are looking for those who offer:

• Active Washington State cosmetology or hair design license (unlicensed candidates may apply, but must have an active license before the start date)
• 0-2 years of recent behind-the-chair experience
• Ability to fully commit to 3 months of focused training
• Available to work a full-time schedule - 5 days a week: Tuesday through Saturday
• Open scheduling availability upon completion of the program, including evenings and both weekend days
