Job summary

University of Arizona in Tucson seeks a Coordinator for New Start to support the implementation and ongoing success of the New Start transition program. This role collaborates with the Senior Coordinator on planning, recruitment, student leader development, and program operations to deliver a comprehensive bridge experience for incoming students.

The position emphasizes student belonging, academic readiness, and successful transition, coordinating residential, academic, and co-curricular

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• Experience supervising student employees, peer mentors, or student leaders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation and day-to-day delivery of New Start programs, activities, and student experiences.
• Support students by connecting them with resources, services, and opportunities that promote success.
• Assist with recruitment, outreach, communications, and engagement efforts across Admissions and campus partners.
• Develop and implement educational, social, and transition-focused programming.
