Job description

Description & Requirements Maximus is currently hiring for New Provider Liaisons to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team.

This is a remote opportunity.

The New Provider Liaison (NPL) is responsible for supporting and guiding newly contracted medical providers on an individually assigned basis.

NPLs are the first point of contact for new providers, helping them become proficient in Compensation and Pension examinations.

Responsibilities include providing guidance on DBQ worksheets, understanding VA rating criteria, technical support for Portal use (including access, research of medical records, report completion, and submission), and expanding initial training into a broader overview of each provider's role within VES.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct orientation training with new providers via a communication platform.
  2. Analyze the first 5 to 10 submitted reports for new or reactivated providers.
  3. Conduct report review sessions with providers.
  4. Identify and summarize trends of errors in reports.
  5. Conduct remedial retraining for providers needing improvement.
  6. Provide detailed feedback on progress via phone.
  7. Evaluate and approve providers to open scheduling when appropriate.
  8. Collaborate with Quality Control, Scheduling, and Recruiting departments.
Home Office Requirements:
  • Company-provided equipment will be supplied upon hire.
  • Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required.
  • Connectivity via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.
  • Private work area and adequate power source.
  • Must reside in the Continental US; remote work from the specified location only.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • 1 year of VES Quality Analyst experience.
