Job summary

Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., is seeking an Applications Engineer with a strong mechanical background to support sales teams across the US and Canada. You will assist with installation of modular plastic belting and ThermoDrive technology, perform field service, and deliver technical training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Food Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer support or industrial sales support as a technical resource.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to articulate mechanical concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~60%, weekends/holidays; mostly scheduled.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to drive aligned priorities.
• Propose application solutions that improve customer operations.
• Lead installation, startup, troubleshooting, and training activities.
• Provide hands-on technical service to food processing customers, especially within the Meat, Poultry & Seafood segment.
• Create clear field reports and practical recommendations.
• Travel primarily across US & Canada, with occasional international travel.
