Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

About the Role: This new position will be vital in helping FTG continue to grow our business. They will do this by executing on the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the NPI process for new PCB designs, ensuring they are manufacturable, scalable, and meet customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth product launches and address potential production challenges.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment setup, and tooling for new products.
  • Perform design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) analysis to improve production efficiency.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, driving cost reduction and efficiency gains.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry certifications, and safety regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven leader able to support and guide the plant team to achieve established goals and objectives.
  • Track record of recruiting and developing employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Clear accomplishments on delivering outstanding support to customers.
  • Demonstrated success achieving financial targets and year over year improvements.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both in personal and group settings.
  • Experience in lean practices and statistical process control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Hands on leader and a working member of the team.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or 5+ years of experience as an NPI Engineer in PCB manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of PCB design, fabrication, and assembly processes.
  • Familiarity with PCB CAD tools (Genesis, InCam, Eagle, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of quality standards such as IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, and other industry certifications is a plus.

Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test

Due to ITAR Regulations, must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Pay range and compensation package:

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
