Tiffany & Co in Cumberland, RI seeks an NPI Engineer to establish robust, repeatable manufacturing specs for new designs across the development lifecycle. You will work with NPI project leads to provide routing recommendations, determine manufacturing offsets, and verify process calculations.
You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure prototypes and production test runs align with CRD requirements, author work instructions, and deliver timely updates at product development meetings.
The New Product Integration (NPI) Engineer establishes robust, repeatable manufacturing specifications for all new designs across the development lifecycle. Working alongside NPI Project Leads who manage timelines and project milestones the Engineer provides cross-functional teams with initial routing recommendations, determines manufacturing offsets, and verifies process calculations. Additionally, the Engineer partners with Project Leads to ensure Hard Prototypes and Production TestRuns strictly align with critical requirements defined in the JDIW-supplied CRDdocumentation.

Support the NPI process for new products and dual-sourcing projects.
Lead engineering phases during development.Support manufacturing teams for the first 6 months post-launch.
Author product-specific work instructions with manufacturing and process teams.
Collaborate with Project Leads on initial plans and process maps.
Deliver timely engineering updates throughout development.
Define technical tasks for approved manufacturing processes.
Submit and track tool room and print requests for fixturing.Validate fixturing and processes with cross-functional members.
Inspect and measurecomponentry, assemblies, and samples using supplier submittal forms
Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure successful execution.
Engage stakeholders including CAD/CAM, Quality, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Finance, and JDIW.
Present and contribute actively at all product development meetings
Compile technical data to prepare project status reports and presentations.
Maintain historical data libraries to optimize future projects.
Reduce developmental trial-and-error by leveraging baseline metrics.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5 years of related experience
Strong ability to manage multiple projects
Strong communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
Proficiency or comfort with CAD software (Rhino, Solidworks, Mastercam)
Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice(Word, Excel, Project and OneNote)
Multilingual, (Spanish)
Knowledge of modern jewelry manufacturing techniques
Understanding of basic statistical tools: Minitab preferable
Six Sigma Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
