Job summary

Daniel Defense, LLC seeks a Technical Project Manager to drive New Product Development from concept to commercialization. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stage-gate processes, and ensure products meet market needs in a fast-paced firearms industry environment.

The role requires a mechanical/engineering background, strong leadership, and experience with project-management tools. On-site work in Georgia with collaboration across engineering, operations, and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/related engineering field; PMP/PMI certification preferred.
• Experience in new product development with stage-gate processes.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Trello, SolidWorks Manage).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional IPTs and ensure stage-gate compliance.
• Manage internal and external resources to meet on-time, on-spec, and on-cost goals.
• Establish and maintain stakeholder alignment on project goals and product objectives.
• Develop and track risk management and mitigation plans.
• Lead scope and requirements management with tradeoff analysis.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and KPIs.
