Position: New Product Development Project Manager

Compensation: $120,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

This is an exciting opportunity for a technical project leader who enjoys guiding innovative products from concept to launch. You’ll join a collaborative environment where engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams work together to bring new solutions to market. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead new product development projects from concept through launch
• Build and manage schedules, budgets, and project plans
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering and operations
• Facilitate design reviews, milestone meetings, and gate reviews
• Track project risks and drive mitigation strategies
• Monitor progress and provide status updates to leadership
• Support prototyping, testing, validation, and launch activities
• Serve as a technical resource for project execution decisions
• Ensure projects stay on time and within budget

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of engineering design experience
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Experience leading technical or engineering projects
• Background managing schedules and budgets
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with embedded systems
• Exposure to firmware or software development
• Experience in instrumentation or battery-powered devices
• Experience leading hardware and software projects together
• PMP certification or similar training
• Manufacturing environment experience

• Hybrid schedule after onboarding which includes three onsite days per week
• Role is near Hobby Airport
• Local Houston candidates required
