Location:Hawaii Cancer CareHiring Range:$18.22 - $25.18Position SummaryAssigns new patients and hospital consultations to designated physicians. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.QualificationsEducationHigh School diploma or GED is requiredPrevious ExperienceAbility to communicate effectively with physicians. Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software.Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.Analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work. Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.Must have knowledge of secretarial, office administrative procedures and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment at a level generally acquired through related experience.Licenses/CertificationsValid Driver’s license in state of residency for travel to clinics is required.Core CapabilitiesAnalysis & Critical Thinking: Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills.
