Job summary

The Mortgage Law Firm seeks an experienced associate attorney to handle foreclosure-related litigation, loss mitigation, and related matters. You will supervise paralegals, prepare pleadings, and liaise with clients, staff, and courts while ensuring timely and precise work product.

Qualified candidates hold a JD and NM bar license, with dual licensure in NM and at least one other state preferred. Real property/foreclosure background is advantageous, and travel to court may be required.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate required with active bar membership in good standing.
  • Experience in foreclosure, real property, and title work preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years as an associate attorney in relevant practice areas.
  • Proficient with Westlaw and time-billing software.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare pleadings, motions, and correspondence for foreclosure and related litigation.
  • Supervise paralegal staff and manage client and staff communications.
  • Research law and facts; draft high-quality pleadings and briefs.
  • Ensure ethical standards, timely billable and non-billable recording.
