Job summary

Lunds & Byerlys Mitchell Road in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, is hiring a Production Worker II to help launch a brand-new production line. The role is full-time, pays a competitive hourly wage, and involves setting up equipment, testing processes, following recipes, and ensuring quality and safety across daily runs.

Qualifications

• Education: Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: food manufacturing, production, or packaging training.
• Ability to complete required food safety or GMP training.
• Demonstrated ability to operate production equipment and follow production documents.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor processing and packaging equipment per procedures and safety rules.
• Prepare ingredients, raw materials, packaging supplies, and work areas for production runs.
• Follow recipes, batch sheets, product specs, and schedules for soups and dressings.
• Perform in-process quality checks, temperature checks, and lot tracking.
• Identify and resolve routine production or equipment issues with supervisor or maintenance.
• Complete line changeovers and basic equipment checks to reduce downtime.
• Pack, label, stack, palletize, and move finished product per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and comply with GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and safety requirements.
• Assist with training new employees and help meet daily production goals.
