Responsibilities:

• Analyze insurance policies and advise insurers on complex coverage issues
• Draft detailed coverage opinions
• Defend carriers in bad faith and declaratory relief actions
• Manage caseload with support from experienced partners
• Handle depositions, discovery, strategy, and dispositive motions

Location & Compensation:

• Offices in Los Angeles – 100% remote
• Base salary up to $200,000 depending on experience
• Profit-sharing bonus: $145/hour on net billables above 1,600 hours
• Discretionary bonuses (many receive five-figure bonuses annually)

Requirements:

• 1+ years in insurance coverage and/or bad faith litigation defense OR
• 3+ years in general litigation defense with interest in insurance law
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Valuing independence, excellence, and a healthy work pace
