New Homes Sales Consultant- North Houston

Summary of Position

The primary role of a Sales Consultant with Coventry Homes, a Dream Finders Homes Company, is to demonstrate product features, designs, and benefits to potential homebuyers to capture new home sales. Utilizes sales and marketing techniques, Company guidelines, and knowledge of assigned communities to achieve division and Company goals to ensure customer satisfaction in accordance with Company objectives. Reports to the Region Manager or the Sales Manager if applicable.

We are looking for experienced New Home Sales Consultants in the following areas: New Caney, Atascocita, Humble, Spring, The Woodlands, Conroe, Aldine, Tomball, Liberty, Channelview.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Explores sales leads and prospects received from various sources to capture new home sales and develops new leads.
  • Identifies needs of potential homebuyers and matches solutions.
  • Generates sales using marketing materials, model homes, local resources, and realtor relationships.
  • Serves as primary contact for homebuyers from initial meeting to home closing.
  • Prepares and reviews sales contracts, ensuring accurate pricing and selections; explains contractual documents to customers.
  • Assists in revising selections as requested by customers.
  • Provides pricing information and communicates estimated delivery dates based on production schedules.
  • Compares products of competitors in the same area.
  • Communicates with other company personnel about customer needs.
  • Attends buyer builder conferences and pre-closing walk-throughs.
  • Maintains inventory flyers and home site maps.
  • Markets community offerings to prospects and Realtors.
  • Identifies signage needs and manages model and inventory home conditions.
  • Knowledgeable about financing options, calculates payments, and explains programs from preferred lenders.
  • Trains and mentors other Sales Consultants and Associates as directed.

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

  • High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in New Home Sales or commission-based real estate sales.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and auto insurance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to prepare documentation and complete contract calculations.

Work Environment

  • Office and field setting, with noise levels usually quiet to moderate.

Physical Demands

  • Walking, climbing stairs, sitting, standing, talking, hearing, seeing, reaching, operating tools, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
