Overview
As a Sales Counselor in our Atlanta Division, you will work one on one with home buyers as they search and purchase the home of their dreams from one of our master-crafted floor plans. You will help ensure customer satisfaction and guide them through the new home build process by prospecting, educating, and setting proper expectations for the build experience. You will thrive in a role that emphasizes relationship-building, clear communication, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, present to, listen to, and close our home buyers.
- Use persuasive communication to obtain buy-in from customers.
- Navigate frequent change, pressure, and shifting priorities to accomplish goals.
- Connect and build valuable relationships with new individuals regularly.
- Embrace technology and AI-powered tools to work smarter and improve customer experiences.
- Work weekends with consistent two weekdays off.
- Develop and execute a proactive prospecting, follow-up, and marketing plan.
- Lead the customer through the sales process from initial contact to contract by understanding and selling to their needs.
- Set proper expectations and manage customers’ processes and paperwork from initial contract through closing, including all financial documentation, designs, and construction meetings.
- Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and meet/exceed sales goals monthly and annually.
- Financially qualify prospects and consult with lending institutions to complete the sales process.
- Leverage company-approved technologies to enhance communication, streamline workflows, and elevate the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Psychology (preferred).
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods and walk on various terrains, including construction sites and residential properties that may have mud or uneven surfaces.
- Must be able to communicate effectively using sensory skills and technology (e.g., cellphone).
- Must be able to perform movements such as bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and grasping.
- Must be able to climb permanent or temporary stairs and ladders.
- Must have the physical strength to lift approximately 50 lbs. unassisted during the workday.
- Must endure varied weather conditions and exposure to dust, dirt, and fumes.
- Must wear protective gear provided (e.g., hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed shoes).
