Job summary

Gary Kerns Homebuilders, LLC in Platte City, MO is seeking a reliable construction assistant to support field crews. You will follow a weekly schedule and complete tasks to GKLLC standards, including site cleanup and material handling.

Responsibilities include installing door locks, rough carpentry, grading yards, mowing, operating a skid steer, and daily log updates. Weekend work may be required with notice.

• Construction experience is preferred.

• Mow and weed subdivisions.
• Rough grade yards.
• Move materials to/from jobsite.
• Rough carpentry tasks, tape tubs.
• Caulk porch stoop and stone boards.
• Jobsite cleanup and protection of fixtures.

• -ability to drive skid steers and pull trailers

• -construction experience preferred (pay based on experience).

Hours:

• 7am -3:30pm Mon-Fri
• Monday Morning meeting at the office at 7am.
• Weekend work may be required at times. Prior notice will be given ahead of time.
• Emergencies as needed.

Role:

• To follow a weekly schedule and complete construction tasks in a safe, efficient manner to company standards. Communicating with supers any issues and ensuring all work is completed to GKLLC standards.
