Job summary

M/I Homes is looking for a New Home Consultant to guide customers through the homebuying journey in Raleigh. You will present features, floorplans, and designs, serving as a trusted advisor and coordinating with internal teams for a smooth build process.

The role requires at least 2 years in new home sales, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset, with weekend work and outdoor conditions expected in a dynamic sales environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of new home sales experience with a track record of success.
• Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent sales/marketing training.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation required.

Responsibilities

• Convert visiting customers to new home communities into future homeowners.
• Utilize marketing materials, model homes, and realtor relationships to generate sales.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and customer service goals with minimal supervision.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitors to maintain leadership.
• Educate buyers on offerings, financing programs, and community advantages.
• Serve as the primary contact from first meeting to home closing and beyond.
• Collaborate with internal teams and attend division meetings for seamless process.
• Maintain brand image by monitoring community appearance and home maintenance.
