Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse Graduate for the Nurse Residency Program. You will be hired for the first 12 months to complete the residency as part of a comprehensive program aligned with UCHealth values and standards.

Work is full-time with a 0.9 FTE and department rotations to night shifts or unit-specific schedules across Northern Colorado Hospitals, including Loveland and Fort Collins campuses. The role includes competitive pay and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Current RN licensure as a Colorado RN.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification from AHA or ARC, valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Works within a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Prioritizes wellness, patient perspective and evidence-based practice.
• Precepts new nurses or UCHealth staff as needed.
• Welcomes and applies new knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Contributes to safety and quality at the point of care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• Required Licensure / Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date and valid through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire; all renewals must be completed through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.

Pay Rate for this position is: $32.01 - 38.91 / hour based on RN Graduate Specialty upon hire
