Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled RN to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, high-quality care in line with standards and policies.
You will apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making while promoting a safe environment and a positive patient experience across the care continuum. Eligible candidates must hold an RN license in the state and BLS certification.
The Satellite department consists of 4 Med/Surg, Medical Telemetry units, totaling 34 beds. Our units are dedicated to delivering safe and quality care to patients seamlessly, while optimizing patient flow and capacity by alleviating pressure on the Emergency Department. We cater to a diverse patient population experiencing a wide array of acute diagnoses, including (but not limited to) chest pain, pneumonia, electrolyte imbalances, diabetes, cellulitis, trauma injuries, and mental health instabilities.
Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is the flagship hospital of Atrium Health in Charlotte NC, distinguished throughout the southeastern United States for its excellent patient care and medical expertise. CMC serves as the region’s only Level 1 Trauma center, is Magnet-designated, and an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver. We also serve as one of North Carolina’s 5 Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals, providing residency training for more than 200 physicians in 15 specialties and serve as a regional campus for Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
