Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, part of Advocate Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for 6CD, a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role involves coordinating comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, with emphasis on safety and therapeutic outcomes in a high-volume environment.
Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, a valid RN license in the state, AHA BLS certification, and at least 6 months RN experience.

6CD is a dynamic Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit designed to support patient flow and throughput within the hospital. As part of a Level 1 Trauma Center, the unit plays a critical role in decompressing the Emergency Department by facilitating timely admissions and discharges.
The team on 6CD provides comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of clinical diagnoses, including acute medical conditions, post-operative recovery, and telemetry monitoring needs. Staffed by experienced nurses and clinical professionals, the unit emphasizes comprehensive assessment, stabilization, and transition planning to ensure safe and efficient patient movement across the continuum of care.
