Job summary

Perpay is seeking motivated graduates or equivalent to join our Software Engineering team in 2027. You’ll contribute to our codebase, test and release features into production, and collaborate with product, design, data science, analytics, and operations. Internships plus a path to full-time are expected.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 1 to 2 Software Engineering internships with a focus on fullstack development.
• Experience with Django or Flask backend frameworks.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• Experience with Python or another dynamically typed language.
• Strong focus on writing readable, testable code.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies; strong engineering fundamentals valued over tool familiarity.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and seek feedback; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and release features for customer-facing and internal platforms with the engineering team.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop efficient and user-friendly solutions for complex business needs.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and discussions to improve software architecture and processes.
