Job summary

Perpay, a Philadelphia-based growth-stage startup and certified B Corp, is seeking motivated graduates or equivalents to join our Software Engineering team in 2027. You'll contribute to code, test, and release features across customer-facing and internal platforms, collaborating with product, design, data science, analytics, and operations.

The role emphasizes internship experience, eagerness to learn, and ability to pick up new tools quickly.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher or recent graduate in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• 1–2 software engineering internships with focus on fullstack development.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• Experience with Python or similar language.
• Ability to write clean, readable, testable code.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and release features for customer-facing and internal platforms with the engineering team.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build solutions for business needs.
• Participate in design and code reviews to improve architecture and processes.
