South Pointe Hospital's 6 Medical Unit is a fast-paced unit that cares for patients with a variety of medical conditions and diseases, such pneumonia, congestive heart failure, infectious disease, asthma, and COPD exacerbation, and is very experienced in ventilator management for chronic ventilator patients.
As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers with providing exceptional care to patients from initial introduction to discharge. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.
A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
