Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH seeks a new graduate or early-career RN to begin a nursing career in specialized oncology care. You will provide expert nursing care during advanced cancer therapies and participate in a one-year Nurse Residency to build oncology knowledge and confidence.

The role is full-time with a day shift, offering relocation assistance for eligible candidates, RN loan repayment, and tuition reimbursement to support ongoing professional growth at a leading academic medical

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) required.
• BSN preferred.
• New grad or <1 year RN experience required.
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex clinical care throughout the treatment process.
• Prepare, administer, and monitor highly advanced therapies.
• Focus on bispecific therapies targeting immune T-cells and cancer cells.
• Provide education, support, and expert care to patients and families.
• Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families.
• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required

• Experience moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
