Job summary

Banner Health is offering a New Nurse Experience RN Residency Program in Glendale, AZ, designed to transition new graduates into fully competent registered nurses. The program provides a collaborative learning environment with a preceptor, simulation training, competency verification, and orientation to Cerner EHR.

The program emphasizes clinical experiences, hands-on patient care, and professional development within Banner Health’s extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Recent or Upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred - open to ADN at select locations.
• Current BLS card (through either American Heart Association, Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain certification before a start date.
• No More than 12 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care based on assessments and medical plans.
• Formulate and revise plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate and supervise staff as needed.
• Document nursing care and patient responses in the electronic health record.
