Yale NewHaven Health in New Haven, CT, is hiring a New Grad Residency Registered Nurse for Neuro/Surgical Intermediate Care at Adams Neuroscience Center, McGivney 5. This is a full-time role offering entry-level growth in a high-acuity neuroscience unit.

The unit serves neuroscience, spine, vascular, and general surgery patients, with focus on rapid intervention and advanced nursing assessment. BSN preferred; CT RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• BCLS certification required or obtained within one month of hire.
• Licensed and currently registered as a nurse in Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Perform frequent neurological, vascular, and hemodynamic assessments.
• Provide close post-operative monitoring and surveillance.
• Identify subtle changes in patient condition and escalate care as needed.
• Manage complex clinical scenarios with autonomy and critical thinking.
