Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia offers a 12-month Nurse Residency program to transition new graduates into competent, confident registered nurses through mentorship and blended learning experiences.

Residents will develop clinical judgment, communication skills, and professional growth within acute care specialties including Post-Surgical/GI, Neurology, Orthopedics, Renal, Oncology and General Medical, with dedicated preceptors and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program and RN license in Georgia.
• BSN preferred and specialty certifications encouraged.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate care within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through life.
• Apply nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff.
