Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo is hiring New Graduate Registered Nurses to join the Nurse Residency Program and begin their first RN role on the assigned unit. The program supports transition to practice with structured mentorship and ongoing professional development.

New grads will work 72 hours per pay period across day and night rotations, with options for remote/hybrid scheduling noted; relocation assistance is available for qualified positions. Compensation ranges are provided in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program or a recent graduate entering their first RN role within one year of graduation.
• Candidates must be eligible for nursing licensure in the state of employment.
• Participation in Nurse Residency Program is required for development.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient care across all phases: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delegate care responsibilities to licensed staff based on scope and training.
• Support mission and goals of Essentia Health while providing high-quality care.
• Comply with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.

Education

Registered Nursing student currently enrolled in accredited Nursing Program

Current or upcoming graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
