Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus in Cleveland, OH offers an RN Resident role in a fast-paced urology/medical‑surgical telemetry unit. You will gain hands-on experience, work with a dedicated team, and participate in a one‑year, accredited Nurse Residency with nine tracks, simulation labs, and online modules.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• New grad or less than one year RN work experience or transitioning from non-inpatient to acute direct care

Responsibilities

• Participate in residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity, patient preference, resource availability).
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely.
• Document in patients’ medical records
