Job summary

Cleveland Clinic on its Main Campus is seeking an RN for the G90 Urology/Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit. You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, and coordinate discharge for patients recovering from complex surgeries. The role is PRN with variable shifts and a supportive team led by an approachable leader.

Minimum qualifications include BSN preferred, RN licensure, and BLS. Internal candidates may be considered with leadership review; military RN experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Two years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants.
• Internal applicants with less than two years may qualify with Chief Nursing Officer approval after orientation/probation.
• Military RN experience will be considered.
• Successfully pass prescreen competency assessments.
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
